Pancake Palace was a company I created for a larger project of learning how to design some of the different elements that a business would need, such as a logo, business/loyalty card, menu, ads, and more.
Creating the Pancake Palace Logo
Like any project, the Pancake Palace logo began with sketches to try and nail down the look and feel of the brand. There were multiple different variations, like an anthropomorphic pancake, a castle made of pancakes, and the final version, a pancake with a crown and holding a scepter. Once the direction of the logo was designed, a version of the logo was created, critiqued, and finalized.
The food truck
Next was designing the food truck for the company. This also went through several variations for finding the right colors and layout of the design.
The Menu
Every good restaurant needs a menu, and Pancake Palace is no different. After coming up with some menu items, it was time to create a menu.
This is just some of what went into the Pancake Palace brand. From creating the log and establishing the brand, to creating all of the elements that tie into it, this project helped me to learn and grow as a creator.
